NORMANDIE RIDGE MEMORY CARE RESIDENCE OPEN HOUSE YORK — An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony for a memory care residence will be held from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 at Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community, 1700 Normandie Drive, West Manchester Township.
The 2 p.m. public ribbon cutting ceremony will celebrate the completed construction of an 11,000-square-foot memory care residence, an addition to Normandie Ridge’s continuum of care. The open house will feature presentations on: functional design of residential rooms and living areas, Kaleidoscope Therapeutic Engagement Program, integration of technology, spiritual programming, dining by Sodexo and therapy by Functional Pathways. Refreshments and tours of the memory care residence will be provided.
Built by Stewart & Tate Construction, the new state-of-the-art facility offers 14 private and two semi-private residential rooms. The new residence is designed to promote the abundant living of current and future Normandie Ridge residents with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and will provide specialized personnel focusing solely on memory care in order to help keep residents’ minds sharp and reduce the effects of memory decline.
