There are so many activities and events to take part in at Normandie Ridge. The possibilities are endless!
Whether you are an accomplished artist or are just looking to expand your creativity, The Cottage Place arts and crafts studio is the place to be. Our residents have many opportunities to explore and share their talents with others.
Woodworkers can enjoy spending time in our campus wood shop creating toys, furniture and a variety of other handmade items. Woodworking tools are available to all of our residents looking to spend time in our wood shop.
If you are looking to stay active, Normandie Ridge has many opportunities for a vibrant and healthy lifestyle. You can swim laps or take an exercise class in our indoor heated pool. Feel free to use our fitness center in Manchester Court, or take part in Morning Movers, a yoga infused aerobics class, or our twice-weekly Sit and Strengthen class. You can also enjoy taking a stroll or riding your bike on the many roads and paths around campus, including the new West Manchester Senior Trail & Nature Park, adjoining the Normandie Ridge campus.

At Normandie Ridge, you can continue to learn through a variety of programs. Our monthly “In the Know” series presented by our Enhanced Services team informs residents on a variety of health and wellness topics.
Normandie Ridge also provides many avenues for spiritual growth. You can attend church services on campus with our chaplain on Sundays. Residents can also get involved in a number of prayer groups and bible studies, or meet one-on-one with our chaplain.
It’s easy to get all of your daily chores and tasks completed here at Normandie Ridge. Bus trips take our residents weekly to local stores including Target, Giant Food, Walmart, Kohls and more. Fulton Bank has services on campus monthly for those with banking needs. PS Salon in Manchester Court & Commons makes it easy to get a haircut, color or nail treatment without having to leave campus.
You can get involved in the Normandie Ridge Community in a number of ways. If you are a volunteer at heart, sign up to assist residents in a variety of ways at the Nursing Care Center. Or you can volunteer at a number of our campus events throughout the year. Residents always have a say in what’s going on through the Resident Association. Join the group and let your voice be heard or attend one of our coffee and conversation events with our leadership. You can also become an active member of a committee such as the Activity Committee or the Food Committee.
There are plenty of activities planned for residents with a variety of tastes. Local musicians often perform on campus along with playwrights, storytellers and other entertainers. Our resident-led activity committee plans bus trips and entertaining evening programs.
